I didn't realize how many board games I had until I went to pack some, sooo... here's a list of ones I think I'll bring? I hope they're all acceptable:
1. Risk
2. Monopoly
3. Quotations (it's some old school one I found a yard sale)
3. Fact or Crap
4. Apples 2 Apples
5. Trivial Pursuit, 90's
ummm. I think that's all :) I also have Taboo, Sequence, some other one that I can't remember the name of, but I think I'll leave those behind, ya ya?

PICTURES!!
Ok guys!
I'll start with the best part of our room- THE VIEW!!
The room is a lot wider than our beloved Bornhuetter abodes but a wee bit shorter. And when we first arrived, both beds were lofted with the desk and dressers underneath, leaving only a little bit of room before the window. We completely rearranged it.

The furniture is identical to our old stuff except that the wood is a darker (prettier) cherry color. Yeah, I'm gonna go with cherry. I Googled types of wood to try to be accurate but that failed.
The closets are SWEET!! I think all 5 of us (including Chris) could stand in them.
Also, we each have a bookshelf, I stuck mine in the closet and Leann's is next to the dressers under the window.
Aaaaand...... let's see.... there is one florescent light above the doorway. Direct quote from Mrs. Morris: "If I lived in this room, I would never EVER use that light!" It's a little hospital-like (or morgue) but not terrible in my opinion. A floor lamp will be nice though.
Now for the part where I employed my well-honed stalker skills. Our RA's name is Somadina Iworisha. I hear that she's really fun and sings a lot.

Took me a minute to find their room. I was looking for the wrong names!
And we can probably guess what their RA is into.
Well, that's all I've got. I can't wait for you all to get here!! And call or text me when you get in so I can help you move in if you so wish. (I have to go to a training session on how to un-loft beds- HAA! so I should be an expert! HAA!).
See you soon!

IKEA findings
1) I got the Orgel Vreten floor lamp for $20. Pro: It was on sale from $30 to $20! Con: The lamp shade is made of paper. The paper is like paper-mache thick, but I'm kind of afraid it could rip. ("So handle me with care...")

3) My brother is evil. I was browsing in the marketplace while he was in the restaurant eating Swedish meatballs and he didn't even save any.
4) There was a Scandinavian looking employee who had a fake mustache that was half falling off. He looked redonkulous!
5) The rooms in Douglass are pretty big, so there's a lot of space for entertaining, etc. I thought about getting a LACK side table for $8 (seriously! $8! and it comes in a lot of colors too) or a coffee table for $20. Again, if not for transportation issues, I would have bought this.
6) I love IKEA. The end.

More odds and ends
1) Have you noticed that Chris is a part of this blog but hasn't posted anything? What a bimbo. Just because you're having tons of fun in Europe doesn't mean you get to neglect your obligations to this blog! So pretty much, come back to the USA Chris, I miss my number 1 skinny hipster.
2) I just talked on the phone with Haley and she had this to say about the rooms in Douglass:
a) They're newly furnished! It looks like the same furniture we had in Bornhuetter but in a darker color, "cherry?" Haley says
b) Our RA might be Japanese, or at least has a Japanese sounding name
c) (Totally unrelated to B): Our name tags have female anime characters on them
3) I am finally going to that golden place called IKEA today. I will update my findings and purchases later!
4) Haley also said that the road construction looks pretty much the same. I was expecting to come back to see Wooster completely transformed and beautified. I guess we'll have to wait a little longer.
5) Can we please have a Dr. Horrible Viewing Party? Can people dress up as the Evil League of Evil?! We can turn it into a karaoke party too! Observe:

What's on the television?
Right. So I don't think that we are going to be watching quality television like those two lovely ladies were, but I think we can manage to drum up some decent television - and we'll make sure that no male lion-penguin crossbreeds stamped "property of the zoo" can sit on top of the TV and consequently blow up. And if we see one we'll dump it in one of the boy's rooms. Or my half of the room. Whichever, it wont make a visual difference.
As a very wise young man once wrote, "You did take a very long time to say very little." I think that sums up this situation and the whole of my blogging career very well. Anyway, I thought I may provide a list/schedule of the television that we will be taking the opportunity to watch. And by we I mean myself and others that care to join me, so some shows will not be included, and there is an addition to the fall lineup that I WILL be hitting up.
Monday
How I Met Your Mother - I think we could all go with another season of Ted whining, Lily making me want to stab her, Barney and Robin being ridiculous, and Marshall being awesome. At least that's how I sum it up.
True Blood - New episodes come out on Sundays, so I declare Monday after How I Met Your Mother: True Blood watching time. Anyone who does not want to see fucking should probably go elsewhere.
Wednesday
So You Think You Can Dance - Usually only on in the summer, SYTYCD is having a fall season. My favorite thing about this show is that it is a dance show first, and a reality show second. Thus, the dancing is amazing, the judges are a little wacky, but it blows American Idol out of the water never to come back again. You guys will love it. I hope.
I know it's not the most widely-accepted dance but it's probably my favorite one ever.
Glee - Since SYTYCD is usually 2 hours long, and Glee is on at 9, I was worried that these two might overlap - but they're on the same network. So. Either Fox is fucked or we're fine. And besides the AWESOME version of Don't Stop Believing this show looks wicked fun. And the cheerleading coach is worth an hour of show you don't like. Honestly, she is.
Thursday
30 Rock - I don't think I need to convince anyone. Workin' on my night cheese!
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia - I have gone from listening to Leann and Haley watch this show while I wrote papers and chatted with my friends to catching up on all the seasons in a matter of days. And deciding who, in all my groups of friends, was The Brain, The Looks, and the Wild Card.
Friday
Dollhouse - Looks like we're doing the Friday night not-party-but-watch-TV-and-start-playing-awkwardly-late-while-praying-for-the-show-not-to-be-canceled thing again. Thanks Fox. We really owe you one. That and lusting after now-scarred Victor. Oh Joss Whedon. You really GET my weakness for guys with scars.
And that's that! We're grossly obsessed! And will all end up looking liiiiiiike:
